There’s nothing that we appreciate more than the opportunity to spread love and good vibes out into the universe. Many of our readers celebrate Mother’s Day. We thought this would be an excellent chance to really get some positive energy flowing! For many of us, thoughts of our mom bring happy memories and a deeper kind of love. What’s the Story Behind Hail Merry Organic Snacks?

My mom takes raw-mazing to the next level every day of the year! When I went raw, she embraced my new love and took time to learn about it. She asked insightful questions and trusted my answers. As she watched my miraculous healing and transformation, she “bragged” about her 44-year old daughter to her friends and supported me every step of the way.
The crowning point of the year was that she came with me when I spoke at the Raw Spirit Festival in Maryland. She went 100% raw overnight and stuck with it ’til her detox symptoms made me decide it was time to take her out for dinner.
She’s an amazing lady who goes out of her way to support and encourage everyone in her life every day. She’s a winner, regardless of who is blessed to win this contest!

My mom is rawmazing because since going raw she has been really supportive of my decision. She sends me info on things she thinks would be helpful to me and she even has been trying all my new recipes.I think anytime you embark on a new adventure it is great to have the support wherever you can get it.But it is even nicer coming from mom!!! She has now started incorporating more raw foods into her own diet and seeing great changes. Rawk on mom!!!

My mom is amazing in so many ways… She’s an amazing cook and baker! She’s incredibly supportive in my career and always available for brainstorming when I’m frustrated. She dove right in when my husband and I got married; she absolutely adores him and adores my step-daughter (and how easy is it to take up grandma reins for someone age 8?) She is generous to a fault, always providing food, goodies, extra little gifts, not to mention volunteering her time in a variety of venues. She’s creative and artsy and strong-willed and opinionated but diplomatic. When it comes to dealing with tough situations, either in my personal life or in my professional life, I stop and think, “what would Mom do?”
I have to say that my Dad is pretty amazing too, but that’s a post for another month, right?

My mom is RAW-A-mazing because she has always been caring and supportive. She didn’t judge me when I decided to become vegan. Instead, she made an effort to veganize my favorite comfort food disshes without complaining about the extra work it often requires.

Spring is such a sacred and beautiful time of the year. It is the time when we can reconnect with our dreams and goals that we may have lost sight of in the dark of winter. It is a time to clean out, clear out and take a re-examination and a reassessment of our actions in our everyday lives. Are there actions we do every day that are not in alignment with our true goals? We need to re-focus our minds and my Mom imparts this outlook each and every day! She takes the ‘zing’ out of RAW-amazing and kicks it up a notch to give me the encouragement and sustainability I need to live my life as a raw foodist.
Eating raw is a natural way to fuel and heal our bodies and to have the support of my Mom brings my journey being raw to the next level. Even though she isn’t fully raw like me, she understands my notions of going raw. She inspires me with her caring disposition and ‘zing’ and instils new ideas and approaches that lead me to my goals. Her endless articles, recipes and blogs on raw food she digs up for me on a daily basis, realign my thoughts and reinforces why I went raw in the first place. I eat for energy and my Mom gives me the extra boost I need to go into full gear!
Hail Merry to my Mother and all that she does for me. Her energy shines through and cascades to all around her. She helps me carry on with my journey as a raw foodist and embraces my lifestyle. In my eyes she is RAW-amazing, RAW-tastic and RAW-rocking life to the fullest with what she shares to the world and especially what she provides for me – the love I need.

My mother is Raw-Mazing because she raised me vegan. But not by force. But, by her example. She has always been such a model for good health, that I just wanted to follow her example even when I was only 6 years old. I remember telling my kindergarten teacher, I wouldn’t be eating meat because my mother was cooler than she was because she can eat without hurting any animals. She had to put up with a tremendous amount of criticism from family friends about not cooking our family meat.
She goes every Sunday to the nursing home with her two adopted/rescue golden retrievers to cheer up the elderly. She gets up at 5am to walk the dogs, do the yard work & clean the house.
She went to college, is a classically trained Pianist, has her Real Estate brokers license, Insurance License and Hairdressing licence but put that all aside to devote her life to raising my brother & I, fighting for the learning disabled and for Animal Rights. She even stops in the street to move turtles out of harms way.
I am who I am today because of her.
She leads by example, she is irreplaceable my best friend and the best person I know. If she had joined the sisterhood they would make her a saint.

My mom is simply amazing because she has a beautiful and caring soul. She brought me up on natural organic foods and we are in the process of learning about new holistic ways of living. She is all about eating raw and I couldn’t be happier that I have someone in my life who loves to follow this life style!

My mom is raw-mazing because she’s been a single mother to my brother (3) and I (8) since our dad left. She’s been mother and father to us, not an easy task I bet. She’s loving and wants the best for us. She’s gone back to school to get a bachelors degree even though she is disabled (mental illness and physical problems). She also knows it’s important for us to eat right. Mom has been eating raw and we happily followed her and we all feel healthier and are happier. She’s teaching us to eat right now so it will last our lives as we grow into adults. We are proud of our mommy, she’s our hero and our family leader.
