Hi Raw Food Nation!
In 2010 I plan to go from 50% raw to 100% raw and I can hardly wait! =)

My new years resolution is to wake up every day and the first thing I put in my mouth be raw. No matter what it is, a simple or intricate smoothie, a piece of fruit, or a raw bar… it is Raw and Beautiful. This will set the tone for the rest of the day to hopefully follow in it’s foot steps
I also want to slowly stop eating fish, I’ll start with less cooked fish and work my way to raw. I like the protein but I really think it’s a mental attachment rather than a true necessity.
I want to commit to doing my own yoga practice 4 times a week, even just at home. I am a yoga teacher and sometimes my own practice gets compromised to give to others, not this year!
Lastly, I am going to stop drinking alcohol entirely. I rarely drink, maybe a glass of wine once a week or every other week, but I really don’t need it nor desire it. So, done!!! Using this New Year as a way out of this unnecessary habit! Yay! Here’s to a new year of living more authentically in each moment, starting with the food I put in my mouth… and DON’T!

My goal is to win an NPC National Figure Championship and become an IFBB Figure Pro in 2010. I am, to my knowledge, the only high-raw figure competitor in the NPC, so it would be a great example and exposure for the raw lifestyle.

I signed up for a holistic nutrition certificate class and my goal is to get my certificate done in 2010 and get a job helping people!

For 2010, I intend on saving money to take a course in permaculture to facilitate my raw food diet even more, and also to be able to spread the love by planting a garden big enough for all of my neighbors to share!

I’ve planted seeds for 2010 to eat a high raw food diet, continue to do more yoga and to cultivate a peaceful, loving state of mind.

HAPPY NEW YEAR RFN! By eating more healthier as a result of learning fanstatic RAW recipes, I can RAWsolute to be at peace–whether it be mind, body or soul. Hopefully, this will transcend to informing others about the RAWvolution. Oh, and I want to be more consistent with attending my pilates classes in order find more balance. LOVE.GOD.PEACE!
P.S. Isn’t January 1st on Friday?

Hi Raw Food Nation! In 2010 I will focus on building strength and endurance in my body through yoga, weight training and running. I’ve started a bit early, in the hopes that I’ll have worked out most kinks before 2010 starts and can hit the ground running (literally!).

One of my new years resolution is to be even MORE into the raw diet. I have been doing 50%-75% raw for the past 6 months and I plan to be even more into the diet with new recipes every week. I also look to pass on the idea to clients, friends and family who could GREATLY benefit adding raw food to their diets. Have a WONDERFUL new years everyone!

I’d like to start doing yoga 3 times a week for the same price as physical therapy once a week. I think that as I become more in tune with my body, it will help remind me of all the benefits of my healthy raw food lifestyle.

Having gone 100% raw this past July, my New Year’s resolution is to continue walking the path to optimal health. That means remaining open to examining my diet, exercise program, spiritual practices — the whole ball of wax! In the past I locked down on something and then would wear blinders to any new ideas. Today let me cheerfully explore different ways of enhancing my overall well-being.

Hey RFN!
While I’m not one to make high-tailed resolutions I know I won’t be able to sustain, I definitely do have concrete goals for the upcoming year. These include:
2010 is MINE!
1) Setting aside at least 3 hours a week to volunteer at a local naturopathic clinic.
2) Starting a raw foods workshop series in my community for current and rehabilitating cancer patients, as well as in elementary schools, to get children in tune with the food that they eat at an early stage in life! I’m sure this will have a positive effect and will resonate with their parents as well.
3) Begin to integrate exercise more frequently into my weekly routine so that I can reap all the energetic benefits of the RAW foods lifestyle!

My goal for 2010 is a more joyful, healthful lifestyle by:
1) achieving a higher percentage raw eating plan,
2) more consistent fitness plan
Looking forward to a happy, healthy, abundant new year

My RAWsolution will be to get back on the RAW track. I’ve taken a break for the last few months and I can feel it all over my body that raw is the way to be for me. So I will start slow and steady (cause that wins the race right?) with eating all raw until supper time. Then I will allow myself cooked food if I desire it with a couple helpings of raw too. Maybe by the end of 2010 I can be all raw.
I’m also going to make time several times a week to exercise. I really need to do this. My baby is nearly 2 yrs old it’s time to put the excuses up and fine me again.
Happy New Year everyone & good luck on your RAWsolutions

I plan on setting up my own little wheat grass growing operation! At the cost of 20-30 cents per serving to consume the equivalent of 2 pound of vegetables; how can I go wrong? So excited for even better health in 2010.

Raw Foods Nation, you are awesome. I am ready to take the plunge! I’m working on ways to integrate my diabetic diet with raw food recipes whenever, and however I can. I’m working toward better health, and a longer life!

Hi, Raw Food Nation, in 2010 I commit to the 21 day all raw challenge starting January 1, to rejoining a gym, and to eating 70% raw green food daily, so my kidneys won’t struggle to alkalize my body. Sending love!

Hi Raw Food Nation! Raw food has changed our lives & we RAWsolute to continue to experiment with new recipes and elixirs with herbs. Also to continue gathering spring water and using all glass and bamboo when possible. In the spring, I am going to go full out learning to forage locally for raw greens and herbs.
Love and hugs,
Steve and Bonnie

Greetings RFN!
I am excited to announce along with banishing my annoying habit of procrastinating getting healthy. I am now jumping head first into juicing! I think my body has been longing for fresh juices as opposed to bottled and I want to get more veggies into my system… so (last year) I decided to buy a juicer and go for it! However, the juicing takes so much time to make and clean up for just one serving or two servings! So now I make a day of it! Well not a WHOLE day, but enough time to make 3 or 4 different kinds of fresh juice of my own, pour it into ice cube trays and then freeze. When they are completely frozen I put them into labeled freeser bags (which I resuse) and they are smoothie/ shake ready! No more excuses for me… hence the end to procrastinating (at least where juicing is concerned!)
Happy New YEAR!
